Direct access to the latest National Hurricane Center bulletins is provided as is a reminder listing of preparatory actions to consider in the event of a storm. If you want updates on flights,, dont buy this app,,
Surface pressure indicators is missing from chart showing planes mission track. Drop sonde reports are there at various points along the route, but one of the most CRUCIAL bits of information is missing: surface pressure. Instead sons odd eye symbol shows theres data to check. Note: the eye symbol USED TO BE A CIRCLE with the SURFACE PRESSURE in it! Also missing is the Recon Plan of the Day info!! CRUCIAL (again), for staying up to date with the missions! Untill the missing info is corrected, I rate this app 2 stars... out of 5.
Access to realtime weather data and storm predictions is pretty cool, but seeing the hurricane hunters in action really makes this app stand out. And surface pressures seem to be displayed when available.
